This Social Contract is to be made and entered into by and between:

Marlena Marie (“MM”), the author and publisher for Fox Fairy Font LLC, a Las Vegas based Limited Liability Company operating as a publishing house;

AND

The individual reading this contract at this exact moment, namely Voidfriends or Voidfolk (“YOU”) who has somehow stumbled upon this page, having their principal address as somewhere far beyond the internet.

ARTICLE 1: LEGALITY

1. This contract has absolutely no legal barring and can not be used in any court proceedings.
2. This contract shall be referred to as the “Social Contract” or “Rules of Engagement.”
3. Any reference or likeness to real contracts is purely coincidental. MM has a basic knowledge of building contracts thanks to previous job experiences.
4. This contract will be periodically updated as new articles are added and engagement continues.
5. All updates will be denoted in this date with a [Date listed as such]. Previous iterations of this contract may be provided on a separate page that will be found HERE, named Social Contract Changes.
6. The Current Version of this document is 03/14/2025.

ARTICLE 2: ENGAGEMENT

1. All Articles within this contract will be referred to as “article” and their number. When referring another to the contract or a specific article, the name “Social Contract” or the article itself will be named (i.e. “See Article One of the Social Contract.”)
2. These articles are not hardest rules, but rather suggestions for the safety and health of both MM and YOU. As such, while enforcement is encouraged it shall not be enforced should the health and safety of MM or YOU be placed in contention.
   1. This contract is intended to be fun.
   2. We are creating an exclusive community that is inclusive of all so long as they respect the rules.
   3. if at any point it is no longer fun, please disengage.
3. MM’s Fox Fairy Font (“FFF”) and fandom is intended to be a safe space. Hate speech and harassment is not tolerated on any FFF platform. Any form of hate speech or harassment will be automatically blocked. Comments will be deleted at MM discretion, to ensure that FFF remains a safe space for the fandom and specifically the authors of FFF. 
4. MM does not condone dogpiling or bullying either. Individuals of the fandom acting on behalf of MM that result in online bullying or harassment, will be blocked and reported. MM does not need the fandom to defend author actions, unless asked in specific. 
5. Official accounts for FFF are @FoxFairyFont on YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Twitter, and Facebook. 
6. The official discord server will open every six months for three weeks and then close again. They will open on the first of January and the first of July. Look for the post on social media and the website for the link. 

ARTICLE 3: AUTHORS

1. This article asserts that ALL current authors under the FFF publishing house are pen names for MM. 
   1. There are a total of Six pen names.
      1. Marlena Marie is the pen name for the primary universe.
      2. Additional known pen names include: Astrid Axton and Bella Brax.
      3. Additional unknown pen names have the initials of: IC, EK, and LL.
   2. For the Voriad, specifically, (See “Article 6: The Voriad” below) there will only ever be these six pen names. No other pen names will be added, at any point.
   3. Per the request of YOU, the links between these authors will be kept a secret for the audience to discover as their books are read.
2. Pennames are loosely decided based on genre. Current genres are as follows:
   1. Marlena Marie – TBA
   2. Astrid Axton – Epic Fantasy, Solarpunk Fantasy
   3. Bella Brax – Webnovels, fantasy
3. When referring to a specific penname, YOU agree to refer to the name itself. Astrid Axton books are by Astrid Axton and Marlena Marie book are by Marlena Marie. Astrid Axton’s books shall not be attributed to Marlena Marie, despite Astrid Axton being a penname for Marlena Marie.
   1. MM commits to lean into this as soon as possible. In order to assist with marketing and legal purposes Marlena Marie will be claiming the name only as necessary. Once MM and FFF are established well enough MM will commit to marketing the books under their proper author name.
   2. YOU are allowed to speculate about any of the pen names except MM, in regards to their lives and what sort of lives they have lived. Please understand that these are speculations.
   3. Please remember that MM is a real person, please treat MM accordingly.
4. The ONLY social media accounts for authors (that are public and not private accounts for Marlena Marie) are: @TheMarlenaMarie (TikTok, Threads, Instagram), TheMarlenaMarie (YouTube), themarlenamarie.com, and @AMarlenaMarie (Twitter). Any other accounts are NOT official accounts, nor associated with FFF. 
5. MM does not use any AI in the creation process of any novels. All ideas were created by MM and all writing was done by MM. MM has a writing speed of approximately 1000 words/hr. Writing a 60k book is about the equivalence of two weeks of writing.
   1. If YOU don’t personally believe this is possible, that’s acceptable, but spreading rumors because you don’t think it makes sense when it’s true is not appreciated.
   2. MM does not use Ghost Writers either.
6. YOU are able to ask MM questions about any of the authors and upcoming books after they have been announced, within reason, and within requirements stipulated below in Article 5 (TBA).

ARTICLE 4: PRIVACY

1. Do not tag nor email MM in reviews. This means any of the author’s personal accounts, private or public.
2. All FFF official accounts can be tagged. Do not email.
   1. Do not expect FFF to respond to any tagged posts
   2. Any responses from FFF on tagged posts or otherwise is an exception not the rule.
   3. Any responses made can not be guaranteed to be MM reacting. It may be a personal assistant or marketing manager.
3. The fandom shall not go out of their way to learn more about MM other than what is said on public channels. Doxing will be reported to authorities with severity, as will hate messages and any threats. 
4. In order to protect FFF intellectual property there is a STRICT NO SUBMISSIONS policy. Do not send FFF your ideas, books, stories, comics, movies, or any other intellectual property that may be your own. As of 03/14/2025 FFF is not publishing anyone other than the authors denoted in Article 3. 
5. The PUBLIC and PRIVATE persona of MM is to be enforced at all times.
6. FFF does not condone piracy. Any FFF book found on piracy websites will be reported. 

ARTICLE 4: PUBLICATION

1. All official names for projects, covers, synopsis, release dates, and preorder dates will be announced on DECEMBER 31st at 6PM PST for the following year. I.e. All books and projects being released in 2026 will be announced on December 31st of 2025. This announcement will be given on the official FFF YouTube channel. After this announcement, promotions will be made on other official FFF social media accounts.
2. Before the official names are announced all projects will be referred to by project names. Examples: Fans, Sapphic Pirates, Ghosts. Once a project is announced it will be referred to as an abbreviation or its Voriad Locator Code.
3. Preorder links will go live between one and three months before the date of publication.
4. Only FFF or MM can add books to GoodReads, if this becomes an issue, project names will be withheld until after FFF or MM have added the official titles. 
5. All books will be published as ebooks and paperbacks, exclusively. Hardcovers will not be added until FFF has the funds to add them into the repertoire. 
6. Audiobooks will be created as projects permit. Some projects may get them, others may not, until such a time that FFF can afford to make audiobooks for all projects.

ARTICLE 5: FANART AND FANFICTION and FAN ENGAGEMENT

1. Fanart and Fanfiction are completely accepted by FFF. Despite this, FFF requests that Fanfiction authors do not tag FFF or MM. MM will not respond or look at any Fanfiction for legal reasons.
2. Currently, FFF is not offering licenses to sell official Fantart or merch.
3. While it can not be enforced, please do not publish any revised fanfiction based on MM’s or Voriad based works.
   1. Where “revised” is that fanfiction that changes character names, world details, etc. and is published under a new name.
   2. Any fan fiction that is published and is NOT revised (i.e. using FFF intellectual property) is illegal and will be dealt with accordingly. 

ARTICLE 6: THE VORIAD

1. The Multiverse for all FFF books is called The Voriad. 
2. The Voriad contains multitudes. It is eternal. It is universal. It is forever.
3. Most novels published by FFF will have a special code called a Voriad Locator Code associated with the title. This code is denoted by brackets, numbers, and letters. This code will appear on the inside title page of the book. This code is the placement of the novel in the Voriad. Books who do not have this code are not associated with the Voriad.
4. Periodically throughout publication of projects, different easter eggs will be given in videos, social media posts, or even on the website. Make sure to pay attention to them as they can lead you to clues on the progression of the Voriad.
5. The Voriad controls this entire site, start to finish, back to front. There is nothing here that they do not control. If you’ve made it this far, welcome to the voriad fandom. We hope you enjoy eternity.
